A small, but varied, collection of pieces. The horse is one of my larger woodcarvings,
made for the kids. I'm a great fan of what I would call the Coney Island era of woodcarvers, circa 1905-1915,
when the line between artist and craftsman was a little blurry and most things were still created by hand. Before fibreglass
and plastic and what I jokingly call... the beginning of the end. An opinion to be expected from someone who paints in a style
used 600 years ago with materials that have not changed substantially since then.

ASK MY WEBSITE "WHY?"
The two pencil sketches were done in 1980, when I was a teenager. They have hung on many walls
over the years and accumulated tremendous sentimental value. Created when I was heavily influenced by
Escher, Dali, and the surrealist movement of the late 1970's, which explains the 'peace sign' ring.
